Itinerary:

Day 1 – Arrival in Kutaisi

Arrival in Kutaisi and hotel check-in. Afternoon visit to Tskaltubo ghost town with abandoned Soviet-era sanatoriums, followed by a visit to Prometheus Cave with a boat ride through underground chambers. Evening cooking experience with a local host. Overnight in Kutaisi.

Day 2 – Journey to Svaneti (Mestia)

Departure towards Svaneti. Stop in Zugdidi to explore the former royal residence. Continue through the stunning Enguri Dam area — one of the tallest dams in the world — with time to explore both exterior and interior sections. Arrival in Mestia, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Ushguli & Shkhara Glacier

Travel to Ushguli, one of the highest inhabited villages in Europe and a UNESCO site. Explore medieval Svan towers and continue with a light trek towards Shkhara Glacier — the source of the Enguri River. Return to Mestia for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Shdugra Waterfall Trek

Moderate hike to Shdugra Waterfall, one of the highest waterfalls in the Caucasus (approx. 200m). Picnic in nature and full-day immersion in Svaneti’s landscapes. Return to Mestia for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Chalaadi Glacier & Koruldi Lakes

Trek to Chalaadi Glacier followed by an excursion to Koruldi Lakes (approx. 3000m altitude) with panoramic mountain views. Afternoon free time in Mestia to explore local culture and village life. Dinner and overnight in Mestia.

Day 6 – Martvili Canyon & Hot Springs

Departure from Svaneti towards Imereti region. Boat trip in Martvili Canyon surrounded by dramatic limestone landscapes. Relaxation in natural hot springs. Continue to Kutaisi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 – Departure

Transfer to the airport and return flight.
